Two Iranian males have been detained by German police on Saturday night after receiving a tip from U.S. safety officers that they have been plotting an assault, based on Munster police and German press stories. 

Munster police officers stated that the 2 males have been suspected of getting ready “a severe act of violence” involving cyanide and ricin to “commit an Islamist-motivated assault.” 

The 2 males, ages 25 and 32, have been taken into custody in Castrop-Rauxel, a city in Western Germany simply exterior of Dortmund.
