Police in Texas have recognized a person who authorities say stole a car with 4 youngsters inside earlier this month.

Lake Price detectives named the suspect as 35-year-old Matthew Minton. Minton is needed for 5 felonies, police mentioned.

The incident occurred on Aug. 19 after a mom, working as a meals supply driver, left her SUV unlocked to select up a meals order at a enterprise close to Rocky Level Path and Boat Membership Street, police beforehand mentioned. 

Whereas the mom was away from the car, a person jumped into the driving force’s seat and started driving away, police mentioned.

Detectives consider he shortly ditched the car in a Greenback Basic parking zone about half a mile away after realizing there have been youngsters within the automotive.
